I don't recommed using namecheap. 1. They've questionable billing practices. They billed me two times for the similar domain transfer. And after i requested reimbursement, they requested a fee. 2. Their tech support team is fairly insufficient. On the DNS management query, they removed nameservers without notification leading to significant decline to traffic. When requested to speak with business owner, they stated he's travelling. I haven't been told by namecheap apparently the dog owner continues to be travelling after two several weeks. I informed BBB, they didn't respond too. 3. The price resembles other service companies. Bottomline, given their questionable billing practices, insufficient customer care, I believe they're poor affordability.

I had been searching to alter hosts for my website and after reading through many glowing reviews which were either compiled by the 2 employees/proprietors they've or buddies of their own.I ought to happen to be notified whenever a prompt emerged directly after my purchase to transfer, proclaiming that each request is examined with a live individual-well the cash has been held for you personally by my bank now, huh?!,That's an acceptance to complete the transfer,I am thinking-and it might take as lengthy as 6 hrs.Really,I receive no notice and check out 13hours. I attempt to sign in after which my account which i so carefully investigated and built was frozen, understand this, with a "fraud" department! For which,I'd no explanation.I recieve on their own chat help also it wasn't any help,Then i get an email where they required a obvious photocopy of my license along with a scanned copy of my charge card, each side to be able to continue using the services of me(no reference to my funds)...I be truthful.I had been receiving these communications from the "Milla" along with a "Nikita",I tell no lie..And "I" appear fraudulent.I let them know not a way, reimbursement me and take my company to Fatcow, however,my website continues to be within the grips of NAMECHEAP plus they won't release unless of course I actually do as I am relayed through them.Lol,I don't do too much.I said excitedly that even Go Dad does not sink to such amounts of extortion.Let's wait and watch, they take my money, promise eco-friendly pastures, immediately freeze me from my account, make ransom demands and hold my domain title hostage, saying it's my fault which i declined to provide them the things they wanted.HELL YEAH Used To Do!This really is internet extortion towards the tenth degree basically ever encountered it!!! No proof of any refund,either....

They're not even close to perfect however in my 2 yrs together i've had no shonky billings plus they respond to questions rapidly. A little more down time than i'd like but that is the worst i'm able to say about the subject.

Unhealthy story for me personally began recently, on 4 august i succesfully moved my domain (eg: www.s-article.com) from some registrar to namecheap.com (did this in order to manage the dns servers after that). I have also buyed hosting package from namecheap.com and for some time things went fine. Some days later i made the decision to upgrade my hosting account to some VPS and once i had several talks with namecheap.com support team i have made an order. Things did not happened once we talked about and my website went lower and so i made the decision to maneuver it to a different hosting and also, since i wasn't able to utilize the VPS from namecheap.com whatsoever, because of their technical problems, and so i asked for my money-back. From here things began to be really ugly, short story is the fact that i received my money-back but namecheap.com banned my account as well as removed the dns servers which i have looking for s-article.com and also the very bad part namecheap.com simple transformed who owns my domain and isn't me any longer is them. I never gave them the accept to achieve that, i never wanted this to occur. I have already attempted to talk to namecheap staff however they stated i did not respect their upgrade policy (things associated with hosting package) and for that reason they closed my account even when the spend domain is really a separate factor that i compensated. I've and that i can offer data is required to prove the domain www.s-article.com is actually my domain and namecheap.com abusively required it couple days ago. I have made gripes to icann.com and enom.com plus they resolution would be to to talk to namecheap to obtain my domain back. Because it appears, just in case namecheap do not have a unique relation together, any registrar can alter who owns a website and unless of course you are prepared to begin a process using a court law, you are the "loser" Conclusion 1. icann sucks 2. enom sucks 3. never move your domain to namecheap, they are able to have it of your stuff and there's no straight method of getting it back

Namecheap domain names cause junk e-mail. They've become their claws into my current email address and i'm inundated with junk e-mail everyday. I'm looking to get the organization to alter its practices and am confirming these to the CA AJ.
