(this publish pertains to Mike's posting from the Hiermenus @ Webreference.)

This little bit is totally off-subject, so neglected if you want, however i think it is really funny and stupid simultaneously (as being a DHTML developer myself) the menus at Webreference still haven't gone onto version 4..... After nearly 24 months!!

Grrrrrrrrr..... I believe I'll just prevent them all rather and stick to common decent navigation

What's the version 4 designed to do in a different way?

There's a beta version of version 4 available, and it is designed to have support for those v.4 browsers and really should be far faster, but it is taken them *this* lengthy to even get near to delivering v.4. Grrrrr.... So far as I will tell, there is not *that" much noticeable improvement (from my testing)
I understand enough about Java and DHTML to become harmful (to myself)...

The final time I checked out the menus around the MS site, these were DHTML --not Java.
BC evaded for this in the(her?) publish.

Hope this can help in some way.

For Java, you may be best obtaining a book or going for a class. It's much a lot more like coding in C from things i understand.

Sorry if this describes I am putting you off, that isn't what I am attempting to do. With my limited understanding in it, I struggle enough using the things I am attempting to do.

Anyway, try the hyperlink above for more information on DHTML.
