My current host is smarthosting.com, the industry good host in lots of aspects except technical support. I want a number with half the characteristics
for half the cost. Oh and i'm using plan 3 I'd publish it but typing everything in only will not happen...

I know you realize this Im posting SmartHostings Termination proceedure I discovered it interesting


6.1.a) Cancellations
SmartHosting continues to supply plan to a person, until an itemized cancellation notice is received in the customer. An itemized notice should be sent by FAX, e-mail or regular mail. Customer is going to be requested random information to ensure identity before the customer hasn't provided correct identity information, SmartHosting won't cancel the account. For a cancellation to become valid, SmartHosting must read the cancellation. It's customer's responsibility to ensure that this confirmation is received. All confirmations by SmartHosting are created via e-mail (not by telephone, not by FAX, not by regular mail or other method).

All charges will cease only following the cancellation notice continues to be received in the customer, and SmartHosting has confirmed the cancellation.

(6.1.b) Duties
It's customer's responsibility to cancel a merchant account prior to the deadline. Any late cancellations, even one next day of the billing date, are just effective following the billing date, meaning the client accounts for every charges prior the cancellation.

SmartHosting will request identification information in the customer to be able to perform a name check from case to case asking for the cancellation, to make certain that that individual is approved to do this type of cancellation. Such methods might be used when the customer's account was already closed because of non-payment. It's customer's responsibility to come back similarly info to SmartHosting prior the following billing date, otherwise, the client will result in every charges which are made prior to the identification details are received.
