Hi Everybody,

I wondered if a person could produce top tips on a) offshore hosting, and b) basically really need it?

The main reason I (think I) want offshore hosting is not for just about any dubious reasons, however for a type of freedom of speech problem. (It's really an expose of the United kingdom Public Service establishment which i have proof are acting nefariously.)

Simply to be obvious, I am not stating anything on the website I can not support with proof, citations and references (all of which be online itself), and i'm prepared to stand my ground, using the courage of my convictions, and take my chances regarding them trying to consider law suit against myself.

The primary reason I (think) I (may) need offshore hosting is not exclusively to safeguard my anonymity, when i suspect they might guess who's running the website anyway, but my primary concern would be that the organization might take court proceedings from the Hosting Company to consider lower the website.

Maybe I am being paranoid &lifier over dramatic, and perhaps it's very difficult for a corporation to possess a site taken lower, a lot more difficult than I'm imagining, however the organization does often make use of the best legal minds that (public) money are able to afford.

Whether it is a lot more difficult and rare for a corporation to have the ability to pressure a United kingdom or US webhost to consider lower an internet site, then that will make existence much simpler clearly, but when there's any chance that they'll possess the site taken lower, purely by threat of law suit (no matter how empty the threat is) i quickly would appreciate any help, advice and encounters of offshore hosting regarding the very best nations, best hosts, connection speeds to individuals nations in the United kingdom individuals kind of issues.

I suppose a part of my real question is if anybody has any understanding (or experience) of methods easily (or otherwise) Web Hosting Companies often collapse when put under any legal pressure, and when you will find negative and positive United kingdom (or US) hosts for the reason that regard?

Sorry for that huge and most likely very contentious multi-question!

With thank you

John.
Personally, basically would host something similar to this, I wouldn't host in your area in United kingdom and that i would also avoid a server in US. Despite I am far to be certain concerning the US website hosts methods when "under any legal pressure" as if you condition, I am inclined to think that the businesses wouldn't be at your disposal not by their fault, but since the headache they might have…

Non US / United kingdom hosting companies... Are we able to compile a trusted list?
For me, offshore hosting is always needed. Not only due to content, but since the laws and regulations onshore appear to alter a great deal and without little if any warning.

I'd look into the laws and regulations inside them countrys because am certain that a couple of of these out there is in reality pretty strict on breaking the laws and regulations "offshore" content typically breaches...
Thanks a lot men for the replies,

I had attempted to analyze reviews about individual offshore hosts before I came onto Webhostingtalk, but there does not appear to become a lot available.

There's an internet site known as TopOffshoreHosts.com, but I am always a little dubious concerning the authenticity and impartiality of those very particularly focused review/award sites. With that said, they award a Netherlands company known as alibabahost.com their top 'award'. I've also read a really limited quantity of nutrients in regards to a company known as Orangewebsite.com (Icelandic).

From things i read, although I realize it's also lower towards the individual hosts, however the Netherlands (or Iceland) appear to become two nations that pay the best 'protection'.

Does anybody have specific experience with these hosts, or can point me in direction of what someone knows is really a truly impartial review website, or maybe anybody knows how legitimate Topoffshorehosts.com is?

Thanks again.

John.

For the reason that situation, I believe Leaseweb will be the right one.
